It's just not Halloween without some fun and spooky treats. Making an easy Nutter Butter Ghost cookie is truly a No Bake Cookie recipe. Adorable and fun spooky ghosts are an endless array of Halloween fun with every bite.

    Nutter Butter Ghosts

Nutter Butter Cookies are my favorite cookie to use when making these simple perfect halloween party food. These could easily be made with Milano Cookies too! So choose your favorite and let's get started.

While you are at it, make sure to make a few Mummy Nutter Butters Cookies too. It's all the same ingredients and you can easily make both at once for some added spooky fun.

    Shopping List

Cookies: Nutter Butter Cookies, peanut butter sandwich cookies or Milano Cookies

Candy Coating: White Almond Bark, Vanilla Candy Wafers, or White Chocolate Chips

Additional: Mini Chocolate Chips OR Brown or black frosting in tube. Candy Eyes (optional)

How to make Easy Ghost Cookies

Gather all the ingredients together and needed supplies. A medium size bowl, cookie sheet with parchment paper or silicone liner. Using parchment paper lined baking sheet makes lifting cookies off baking sheet a breeze. And clean up is so easy.

    White Chocolate in Microwavable bowl

In a microwavable bowl add white candy melts, chopped almond bark or white chocolate chips and heat for 30 seconds. Stir melted chocolate and heat for an additional 15 seconds. Stir again until smooth. If additional time is needed heat for 15 seconds and stir. The residual heat will melt the remaining pieces smooth.

    Melted white chocolate

Hold end of Nutter Butter cookie and dip into melted almond bark or melted chocolate so that cookie is mostly covered in white chocolate. Shake off any excess drip before placing the coated cookie on baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.

    Dip Cookies in White Chocolate

While chocolate is cooling place 2 mini chocolate chips as eyes. They will stick to the white melted chocolate. Allow cookies to harden before serving.

If you prefer to melt some chocolate and pipe on some eyes, that can easily be done. Let me help you!

Melt about 2 ounces of chopped chocolate in microwave for about 30 seconds. Stir. If additional time is needed heat for 15 seconds and stir. You should have a smooth melted chocolate. Place in a ziplock bag or use a piping bag and snip the corner.

Dot on 2 eyes and you can even add an oval of chocolate for a ghostly mouth. Adorable ghost cookies are the top picks with my boys.

Nutter Butter Ghosts are a welcome treat and a perfect peanut butter lover's cookie. It's also easy to make Mummy Nutter Butters too using the same Peanut Butter Cookie. So mix it up and definitely make a few Nutter butter Mummies too.
